Four Scriptures are beautifully depicted on the four corners:
a. 2 Corinthians 5:21“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
b. Isaiah 53:5“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
c. Matthew14:36“And they desired of Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.”
d. Malachi 4:2“But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings”
This New Covenant prayer shawl has much meaning for the believer in Yeshua as compared to the traditional Jewish prayer shawl that teaches us that we receive righteousness and the covenant blessings through committing our heart to receive righteousness through the laws of Moses.
The laws of the Torah (The laws of Moses) are a measuring stick to all people proving that we do not have the ability by ourselves to measure up to God’s standards and His holiness.
The good news is that Yeshua Ha Mashiach fulfilled all the law and we can only receive righteousness through Him. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So we now receive righteousness through the sacrifice that Yeshua made bearing all our sin on Himself. Also the covenant blessing of healing physically, emotionally , mentally and spiritually can be received through the New Covenant promises that Yeshua has made with Jew and Gentile. Touch the hem of His Garment and experience the difference.
The TzitTzit (Fringes) has the blue thread included representing the Messiah.
